Finally, a dry day!
After having such a mild autumn we have had what feels like continuous rain for at least a month. We have been very lucky, we haven’t been flooded just been very wet. Although overcast, there has been no rain today. Everybody has happily skipped off into the field, very happy to be out stretching their legs.
Ground very squelchy under foot but doesn’t seem to bother the girls, I’m sure when its dinner time though they will come running back in.
Wrap up for Winter
There is still time to invest in a ball or two of luxurious yarn and knit a hat, scarf or gloves for January, February and March when the weather gets cold and we all start wishing for spring to arrive. It’s a get little project to do when the days are short and you then have a beautiful handcrafted product which you can wear at the end.
All our yarn is natural with no added chemicals. Each ball of yarn has the name of the alpaca from which it came.
